An Ode to the Mother Earth

A variation for rustic theme for a wedding cake. Dominated by light brown monochromatic ruffles with a touch of grey marble & blush to emulate stone layers in the earth crust. With the crackled fondant finish wrapped around the middle tier and dried pampas and wheat to accentuate the masculinity of the cake itself. At the bottom tier, the cake had a ring of dried pampas attached around the cake board so it could dance as the wind blow.

A style adopted from our previous creation in Bali, we tried to introduce this earthy, cracked mud and stone inspired wedding cake to couples in Surabaya.
